The mother of Sergio Ramos insists her son wants to stay with Real Madrid.

The defender is being linked with Manchester United.

"Well of course he'd like to stay on at the club. Real Madrid comes before everything else," said Paqui García on Antena 3 Deportes.

Asked about a move to United, Ramos' mother was adamant.

"No, I don't think so. He wants to be in Spain. He is Spanish after all."
