Gremio star Doulgas Costa isn't ready to make the big move to Manchester United, says Mum, Marlene.

Jaap Stam, working as a scout for United, saw the attacking midfielder in action earlier this week and Real Madrid sporting director Predrag Mijatovic has also praised Costa's progress.

The Brazil Under 19 international's agent insists he has proven he can play at the top level, but his mother Marlene said: "We know of the interest of some clubs, yes, and that the offers will be great.

"'But, as his mother, I feel that it is still too early for Douglinhas (little Douglas) to leave Brazil. There are still things that he needs to fulfil."
