Youssouf Mulumbu returned to pre-season training with West Bromwich Albion a day late after missing his flight back to England, reports Setanta. The 25-year-old sparked some concern when he failed to report back on Sunday with the rest of the first-team squad, while he was also missing from Monday morning's session.
But Mulumbu was back for afternoon training at 5pm before taking to Twitter to confirm that he had problems making his journey back from DR Congo.
He tweeted: "Missed my flight and get blocked in the airport cause of my I.D."
It is not yet known if Mulumbu will face disciplinary action for being late.
