Veteran Brian Mullan has signed a new deal with the Colorado Rapids.
The 35-year old midfielder has re-signed with the Rapids after initially joining from Houston Dynamo via a trade in late 2010.
"I'm excited to be coming back to the Rapids this season, and for the opportunity to continue playing in my hometown," said five-time MLS Cup winner Mullan.
"I'm eager for the chance to contribute to a team that keeps moving in the right direction and has a lot of potential to achieve great things."
Since arriving in Denver, Mullan has appeared 73 times for the Rapids which has helped his overall MLS tally reach 323 matches which has him 10th on the all-time appearance list among non-goalkeepers.
