Portsmouth owner Sacha Gaydamak wants to appoint ex-Chelsea boss Avram Grant as new manager, says wife Tzofit.

"Avram became picky after Chelsea," she is quoted as saying in The Independent.

"I know Sacha wants him and that players want him.

"I can show you a text message that was sent to him from someone in the club. He called me and said, 'Tzofit, tell Avram that everybody wants him'."
