The wife of Chelsea fullback Ashley Cole admits she's turned down a gift of a new £150,000 Bentley.

Going against WAG type, Girls Aloud singer Cheryle explained: "I wouldn't dream of spending £1,500 on a handbag like some women.

"I'm the same when it comes to other extravagances. Ashley treated me to a brand-new Bentley recently but I couldn't accept it.

"I have my own Mercedes SUV and I bought that when I finally believed I'd worked hard enough to deserve it.

"I don't feel I've done enough to deserve being given a Bentley. So it's sitting in our drive, waiting to go back to the shop."
