The mother of Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli has thanked Italy coach Cesare Prandelli for the way he has supported him during the Euros.

Silvia Balotelli admits Jose Mourinho "made Mario cry" when he was in charge of Inter Milan.

"Prandelli is a good man and he has taught my son many important things, so I called him today to say thank you."
