Belgian prospect Paul-Jose Mpoku is delighted with his move to Tottenham.
The teenager is joining Spurs from Standard Liege and when asked about why he chose White Hart Lane, he told FootGoal: "Because they were the very first team interested in me and they were the first to show me such interest.
"I really wanted to move to England because I have family there. Some of them are living 10 or 15 minutes from where I'm going to stay.
"And you don't have such opportunities twice in your life. Regarding the clubs that wanted me, I can just tell you that there were two English ones, three Spanish ones, two Dutch ones, three French ones and Partizan Belgrade.
"For sure, it was my dream, but going too fast wouldn't be good. I join Tottenham to play with players of my own age at the start.
"I may play with the superior category. But I'm not already thinking of the first team, I shouldn't go too quickly. I am thinking of improving a bit more and then I will think about the 'A' team in two or three years.
"I have plenty of time because I have signed a four-year contract with the club. But my goal was to succeed in England and I will fight to achieve the dream I had as a kid!"
