South Africa striker Katlego Mphela is hoping to move to Birmingham City this summer. The 25-year-old Mamelodi Sundowns forward was the top scorer in the South African top-flight (PSL) last season and scored against France in the final Group A match on Tuesday.
"I'm focused now on going overseas," he said in the Birmingham Mail.
"I spoke to my manager and I understand Birmingham are still interested and want me to come over.
"We'll just wait for the details to be sorted out as to when I will go over, but I don't want to wait. I want to go now while I am in form and ready."
