Manchester United boss David Moyes says he wants Sir Alex Ferguson around the club as much as possible.

Moyes is eager to bend the ear of Fergie when needed.

"I hope he is sitting in the directors box because he has been so good. I have already called him two or three times for some advice. He's not there to pressure me. He said 'you were the name that I've told the board should be the next Manchester United manager.'

"The big thing for me has been the players and they have responded well," said Moyes.
