Moyes wants Everton to embark on long Cup run

Everton boss David Moyes would welcome a long FA Cup run.

While the Everton boss is adamant league position is always his number one priority, he understands the excitement a little bit of cup progress can foster.

“I think what happens when you enter the cup is that you want to do well, but if you go out then obviously you get your focus on the league,” he told evertonfc.com.

“The Premier League will always be the most important thing because that's what gives you the big money from the nice people at Sky and the money from the Premier League.

“But I think while you're in the cup, there's always that little bit in the back of your mind that says hopefully this is our year, hopefully we can get good draws, hopefully we can keep going. We'll try and do that and do well in the cup.”
