Everton boss Dave Moyes has upset some directors on the club's board.

Moyes' outspoken comments about the club's inability to attract players have not been received well at boardroom level, says the Observer.

"We are trying to bring in the right kind of player. There is money available to him. What the manager said was not fair," a source said.
