Manchester United's share value rocketed by £120 million following the dismissal of manager David Moyes yesterday.
The Mirror says the club's shares on the New York stock exchange rocketed by over seven percent.
Investors backed the decision by the Glazer family to get rid of the manager.
The dismissal was also widely welcomed by United fans across the globe.
Shares opened at $17.90 and rose steadily through the day before peaking at $18.64 valuing the club at around £1.72billion.
