Moyes pushing Man Utd to burn off competition for Polish superkid Karol Linetty

Manchester United are tracking Polish starlet Karol Linetty.

The People says United manager David Moyes sent a top spy to watch the Lech Poznan teenager last weekend - who is already being compared to Real Madrid's Croatian playmaker Luka Modric.

Linetty was only used as a sub in the game - much to the frustration of 40 scouts who took in the match.

Poznan will accept a fee of £4million for their top prospect, and the Reds plan to be in the bidding as the United chief tries to look ahead with his rebuilding strategy at Old Trafford.
