Manchester United boss David Moyes has made it clear that Danny Welbeck is a vital player for the club.
Reports have emerged that the 23-year old striker is becoming frustrated with his current situation at Old Trafford as he continues to be played as a winger instead of centrally.
Welbeck has netted 10 goals in 32 outings this season but has started just 13 times in the Premier League which has reportedly prompted him to consider his future with the Red Devils.
United were beaten 2-0 by Everton on Sunday and in the wake of the defeat, Moyes insisted that Welbeck was a key member of his squad, as he tried to quash rumours of a potential summer exit.
"Danny Welbeck is really important to me and I really value him," said Moyes of Welbeck who played just 15 minutes of the Goodison Park loss.
"There have been lots of stories. I can only tell you Danny Welbeck is really important to me and really important to Manchester United."
