Everton boss David Moyes says Leon Osman is "part of the furniture" now at Goodison Park.
Osman headed the winner against Swansea City this week.
Moyes hailed the Blues stalwart, who excelled in place of Tim Cahill in the hole behind Louis Saha, saying: "I think in the last few games, Ossie has come back to the form we know.
"He has an intelligence, which allows us to play a certain way.
"I've said to him and Tony Hibbert, as far as I'm concerned they are part of the furniture. Sometimes they get taken for granted a little, but they are always there in our corner when I need them, and we needed them tonight. We needed a goal to come from somewhere and Ossie was the man.""He got us a goal on Saturday and another tonight. He has been a really important member of the squad, who sometimes goes unnoticed. But tonight, and certainly on Saturday, he was our best player.
