Everton boss David Moyes feels they've managed to keep their best players thanks to the club's stability.
Moyes has enjoyed great support from his chairman Bill Kenwright during the last decade.
He said: "It's suited Everton well over the years. We've had that stability and not chopped and changed all the time.
"It's always hard when you take over a big club and it looks like he's been trying to change how they play and some players.
"That takes time, yet people want instant results. But it does not always work like that.""That has worked because you've seen players like Phil Neville and Tim Cahill stay here for a lengthy period. We've been able to have a consistent level, although we did it differently to Chelsea, as our expectations are different.
