David Moyes is confident that Manchester United will soon sort out a new contract for Wayne Rooney.
The England international is contracted at Old Trafford until 2015 but has been linked with a lucrative extension which could see him earn £300,000 a week.
When quizzed on the state of the contract negotiations, Moyes said that it was in the hands of executive vie-chairman Ed Woodward.
"It is one I have left with Ed Woodward and Wayne and his advisors," said Moyes.
"We will give you an update on it at the right time. Right now I would prefer to talk about his performances."
