Manchester United boss David Moyes knows they face a decisive week in their title push.
United's upcoming games with Everton and Newcastle United in the next week will allow the champions an opportunity to shake things up towards the top of the table.
"We've got two home games and we need to try to turn them into victories," Moyes told MUTV. "If we can do that, we'll be in amongst it and back in the mix and that is what we plan to do. We have to make them count now.
"We have to show our strength at Old Trafford and turn them into good victories. Both Everton and Newcastle are tough teams who are playing well at this moment in time. They are in amongst the pack right up there at the top of the league."
