Moyes keen to test Real Sociedad youngsters

Real Sociedad boss David Moyes says he'll test some young players in the coming games.

Moyes accepts the Europa League is a step too far for La Real this season.

"We are not mathematically safe from relegation, we have to make sure we win more games. But I'm confident we will. The players have a lot of belief just now and they're tougher and I hope we can finish the season strong. I want us to finish as high up as we can because I want to build momentum for next season," he said.

"I think Europe is too far away. But, are we going to continue trying? Of course we are. But all you can do is win the next game. If we win the next game, we'll try to win the following one, then the next. We are preparing for next year and at the same time, we're trying to give some players who haven't featured much the opportunity to play; we'll keep pushing to finish as high up the league as we can. I think the distance (eight points), at this stage, is too much but while we've still got a chance, while it's mathematically still possible, we will definitely keep trying."
