Everton boss Dave Moyes has assured fans he is staying at Goodison Park.
He said: "I am preparing for next season. I will still be here unless I am told something different. But I hope my situation gets sorted out soon. I have not been offered a contract and can only wait until that time comes.
"It's important I find out what the club wants to do but there isn't the possibility that this will be my final game."
Moyes is more concerned with getting at least a point against the Toon to clinch a UEFA Cup slot and discover his summer transfer budget.
He added: "I want to know whether I'll be shopping in Harrods or elsewhere!"
