David Moyes hopes to take Phil Neville with him to Real Sociedad. The Mirror says former Manchester United boss Moyes, sacked after just 10 months in charge at Old Trafford, is in pole position to take over at the Spanish club, having been offered the job.
Neville worked under Moyes as a coach at United last season but left in the summer after he was sacked and when Louis van Gaal was appointed as the new Old Trafford boss.
Moyes, 51, dismissed by United in April, is now ready to make his managerial comeback, after Sociedad sacked boss Jagoba Arrasate at the weekend.
Neville, 37, is understood to be unsure about the prospect of following Moyes to Spain, because of family reasons and his burgeoning media career.
