David Moyes is looking to Everton to be top of the table this afternoon.
If Everton beat Southampton by three goals and Chelsea crash, the Goodison gaffer will be top of the Premier League.
Moyes said: "It would be great.
"If you can hang around those positions as the season goes on, it's great psychologically.
"But it's not the first two or three which have been the problem for us, it's from games three to 10, so I couldn't say we have had a great start until after that.
"Tuesday's defeat at Leeds shows you have to be at your maximum all the time.
"Maybe we don't have a third gear but have to be in fourth all the time."
