Everton boss David Moyes was happy to give Goodison Park fans a first look at Conor McAleny in yesterday's 1-1 draw with Norwich City.

Moyes threw on McAleny with a few minutes remaining for the youngster's home bow and the Academy striker could have snatched the win, only to miskick at the near post.

"It was a last throw of the dice," mused Moyes. "We hoped Conor might have nicked us something right at the end."
