Manchester United boss David Moyes says good football, is winning football.

Moyes was asked if his style of play will be different to Sir Alex Ferguson's.

He said: "I hope we play the same way, same traditions and entertaining, exciting football.

"I've always said the biggest thing in football is to win, the job here is to win. I'd always put winning at the top of the list. Sir Alex would as well.

"If you have a great, entertaining team but don't win the games, it doesn't quite get you anywhere."

Moyes has been given a six-year contract which is a real statement of the club's belief in their new boss, who added: "They want continuity and they want longevity."
