David Moyes expects to control football matters at Manchester United.

Moyes suggested he will need to emulate Sir Alex Ferguson in having control at United.

"It's a great honour to be appointed at Manchester United," said Moyes. "(But) don't assume your board of directors always have the answers. You need to influence (as a manager or coach)."
