Everton boss Dave Moyes says it's crucial to move to a new stadium if the club is to compete in the Premiership.

He said: "In the past few years it has become patently clear that only those clubs which can boost an impressive financial clout can truly compete for the major prizes.

"What we don't want is to be left behind. I want the best for Everton in both the short and long terms.

"The stadium in Kirkby will provide us with the facilities we need to keep moving forward."
