Moyes delighted with progress of Man Utd youngsters

Manchester United boss David Moyes is delighted with the progress of their youngsters this season.

Moyes says they've given the team fresh energy.

"You have to protect them of course but there's also part of you that has to say to the youngsters: 'Stand up and show us what you can do, you've been given the opportunity'," Moyes explained.

"Over the years when I look back at the history of this club, that's always been the case. It's been renowned for putting young players in.

"I would like to have a good energy about my team, a team that passes the ball well but I want them to be able to run and be exciting and you have to have all of those qualities.

"We're slowly starting to get them all a little bit better, game by game. It's not always been that way and we'd like that more often but I do see that we've got a team.

"Danny Welbeck, Tom Cleverley, Adnan, have got energy and we've got a team that's got a lot of energy at the moment."
