Sunderland manager David Moyes has bullishly claimed that he will not resign despite pressure from the fans.
Sunderland now look all but certain to suffer relegation into the Championship following the disappointing 1-0 defeat against Middlesbrough on Wednesday night and disgruntled Black Cats supporters serenaded chants of "We want Moyesy out" in a bid to pressurise manager Moyes to leave the Wearside club.
Despite the unhappiness of the fans, Moyes is not thinking about resigning and has insisted that he is working hard to turn the Black Cats' fortunes around.
Moyes said: "No I'm here, I'm the manager and I take it on the chin.
"Nobody wants to win more than me, I'm used to winning and not used to losing – I don't want to get used to it either."
