Manchester United boss David Moyes has come to the defence of Nani after he was booed from the pitch on the weekend.
The Portuguese winger was replaced by Adnan Januzaj just before the hour-mark of United's eventual 3-2 win over Stoke City and made his way to the bench with plenty of criticism being directed his way.
But the 26-year old is simply part of a talented Old Trafford squad in the opinion of the manager who was quick to back his player.
"He is a regular and captain for Portugal so he is very talented," Moyes told reporters.
"There were one or two decisions he might have made better, but he got us the [first] goal with a lovely ball.
"We have a lot of competition for places in the wide areas, incredible competition, and that is what we're looking for."
