Wolves chief Jez Moxey has urged fans to stay calm over the frenzied summer market.
Moxey cautioned: "We're being linked with all and sundry, so once again I would remind supporters until they hear something from us not to believe comments and speculation.
"What is happening is a huge amount of work behind the scenes, aimed at strengthening the team for the Premier League challenge.
"That is continuing and will continue."
Moxey cut short a holiday this week to hold meetings with an agent, before joining chairman Steve Morgan at the two-day Premier League meeting starting tomorrow when Wolves will officially become a Premier club.
