Moxey pleased with Wolves summer market campaign

Wolves chief Jez Moxey was pleased with their summer market campaign.

Wolves' outlays this summer have seen the permanent arrivals of Steven Fletcher, Jelle Van Damme, Stephen Hunt and Steven Mouyokolo, with Michael Mancienne and Marcus Bent arriving on loan.

Adlene Guedioura's temporary switch from RSC Charleroi was also made permanent with Geoffrey Mujangi Bia taken on a season-long loan.

There would have been other targets who didn't come to fruition along the way, but the CEO is pleased with the business done and pleased that the club are always able to remain flexible.

He told the club's website: "This is the message that everyone in football needs to try to get in their mind which is that there is always more than one player.

"Very rarely is there only ever one player who you must get at all costs.

"We just don't buy that in our evolution - if we try to get one player and the goalposts move, then we move on.

"And we won't pay more than it's appropriate to pay."
