West Brom boss Tony Mowbray admits his squad lacks the class to compete in the Premiership.
Mowbray admitted: "When you look at the bigger picture maybe we just fall short on the quality players in certain areas of the pitch.
"Maybe we fall just short of that quality that would have pushed on for the extra 10-12 points that would have add us sitting in mid-table now.
"There have been at least half a dozen times this season where I felt we should have taken all three points and haven't.
"But it is my job to pick them up every week. Whether it is a defensive error or missed opportunities, it can puncture the bubble of self confidence and belief."
