West Brom boss Tony Mowbray insists he'd be happy to stick with his current squad for the remainder of the season.
He said: "I am happy enough with the players I have and I think they have worked extremely hard over the first half of the season. They have been a credit to the club in the way they have played.
"We have given ourselves a real chance of staying in the division, and then hopefully build with players we identify as long-term signings.
"We will try and bring them in at the right time and for the right price."
He added in the Birmingham Post: "In an ideal world you identify players that you really like and you want them as part of your squad, then you go and get them.
"We are not in a position to do that. We ask clubs to try and take a few players on loan and if they come off then great, if not we move on.
"I enjoy our team and I like sending us out to try and win football matches, and if we can add a couple of faces to help the competition then great. If we can't, so be it."
