Mousa Dembele says Tottenham are mentally tougher this season.

The Belgium midfielder was speaking after their draw with Chelsea.

He said: “West Brom beat Arsenal recently, which is a warning for us, and I hope we're not going to underestimate them. The focus for those kind of games are maybe more difficult than Chelsea.

"You don't need a speech for these kinds of games but that's an area in which I think we have grown this year — the 'small' teams are always difficult and, as everyone knows, anyone can beat anyone. We have a lot of respect for everyone but we know we have to win these games if we want to be high in the League.

“Everyone can see the way we play, our mentality is different.

“We are more confident and that's something we've worked on for a long time. Maybe in the past it was different, more people were sure of their spots, but at the moment everyone is capable of playing and that is something I hope will make everyone focus, including myself."
