Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has been pondering on whether he will be looking to strengthen his squad in January.

"For some positions we are comfortable in number and we have lots of matches to play in April and May and Europa League on Thursdays," said Mourinho.

"I don't see us getting the bonus of Monday matches. Probably in some positions we are going to have problems, but hopefully we are OK.

"I always think the best time is summer market, the January market is for emergencies, to try to resolve some problems or give you a little boost for the rest of the season."
