Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is ready to secure the futures of four off contract players.

The Telegraph says Juan Mata, Ander Herrera, Ashley Young and Daley Blind are all out of contract in the summer.

And United will move quickly to trigger extensions to the quartet, in the hope of securing their futures and increasing their transfer value.

Another player who is unsure about his future at the Red Devils is Luke Shaw.

United have already invoked the 12-month option on Luke Shaw's contract to extend his deal to June 2019, but it is likely this is simply to increase his transfer value.
