Mourinho will let Lukaku play for Chelsea future at World Cup

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho will let Romelu Lukaku play for his Blues future at this summer's World Cup.

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho will let Romelu Lukaku play for his Blues future at this summer's World Cup.

The Daily Star Sunday says Swansea’s Ivory Coast hitman Wilfried Bony, QPR’s French ace Loic Remy and the Blues’ own Belgium star Lukaku are the trio being monitored by the Stamford Bridge boss.

Mourinho and Chelsea have already agreed a £35million deal for Atletico Madrid top scorer Diego Costa.

But the Special One has yet to decide whether to bring Lukaku, who spent last season on loan at Everton, back into the fold - or find a new forward for his squad.

Lukaku and Mourinho clashed this time last year when the Portuguese coach refused to guarantee him regular first-team football at Chelsea.

And unless the powerful frontman, 21, has a sensational World Cup with Belgium it seems unlikely that uneasy relationship will be repaired any time soon.
