Jose Mourinho will have an influence on transfer policy at Chelsea this summer - if he agrees to return.
The Mail on Sunday says Chelsea are already making plans for next season and it is understood that the new manager - which will be Mourinho as long as compensation with Real Madrid can be settled - will have an input and the board would work hard to deliver at least one of his preferred targets.
Manuel Pellegrini, Malaga's coach, remains the alternative candidate should there be a late hitch in negotiations.
