Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has no problem with Marcel Desailly talking about the club.
Desailly claimed Mourinho was unhappy about the balance of his squad this season.
"Football is full of people like Marcel and it is an opinion I respect," Mourinho said.
"It is important to listen to ex-players and respect and analyse what they are saying, and they are paid to have an opinion.
"It's their job as they are not players or coaches anymore.
"Sometimes I read sometimes I don't, sometimes I listen sometimes I don't.
"I learn to respect because if Marcel says so I respect it."
