Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho is making he signing of Athletic Bilbao midfielder Javi Martinez a summer priority.
Marca says Mourinho has made it clear to football chiefs that Martinez MUST be signed for next season.
The 24 year-old, who can play in midfield and defence, is greatly admired by Mourinho and he knows they must move quickly before Manchester City make their interest concrete.
