Incoming Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho wants to whisk Raphael Varane away from Real Madrid. The Daily Mail says Varane, who missed the Copa del Rey final defeat by Atletico last Friday because of a knee injury, has been outstanding during the coach's final season.

The France defender, 20, was signed from Lens in 2011 and Mourinho will take him to Chelsea if Real offer any encouragement.
