Jose Mourinho plans to make Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard his first signing as Inter Milan coach.
The Portuguese is expected to be named as Roberto Mancini's successor this week after agreeing in principle to a three-year deal worth £7million a season.
And he hopes his first signing will be England midfielder Lampard - who was close to Mourinho when the pair worked together at Stamford Bridge - according to the Daily Mirror.
The 29-year-old former West Ham star, whose Chelsea contract runs out next summer, could be available for a cut-price £7m.
