Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho has urged fans to support his players in tonight's Champions League clash with Galatasaray.

Supporters' groups are planning a show of support for Mourinho, urging him to stay on next season.

"I'm grateful but I don't like it. I think football is in the stadium. The support is for the team, not for individuals. I don't like those kinds of situations in football. The club is more important than we are. The support that I want tomorrow is for the players who will be on the field, who are the ones who are going to play. That's what I want and, to me, that's fundamental," he said.
