Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has urged the duo of Chris Smalling and Phil Jones to step up following the injury suffered by Marcos Rojo.
United sealed their place in the semi-finals of the Europa League with a hard fought 2-1 extra time victory over Anderlecht at Old Trafford on Thursday night but the win came at a cost as star players Zlatan Ibrahimovic and defender Rojo suffered nasty looking knee injuries.
The injury to Rojo in particular could be a huge blow as United are currently short on options at the back and Mourinho has urged Smalling and Jones to ramp up their respective recovery process to help ease the crisis.
Mourinho said: "They have to be brave now. If it was me, they would be returning from injury tomorrow."
