Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has made it clear that John Terry will sign a new one-year contract with the club.
The 34-year old club captain is contracted until the summer but Mourinho is adamant that he wants the central defender in his squad for at least the 2015/16 season.
"I can guarantee he will be a Chelsea player next season," said Mourinho.
"No doubts he's going to get his contract."
Terry, who signed a rolling one-year deal last summer, starred for the Blues in their Capital One Cup triumph over Tottenham on Sunday and is keen to remain at Stamford Bridge for as long as he can.
