Manchester United are targeting senior signings for 2017.
The Sunday Mirror says Jose Mourinho has told Manchester United's chiefs his priority in the next two transfer windows is finding ready-made stars – not young potential.
Old Trafford boss Mourinho believes he has enough youth in his squad as it stands – with Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial, Paul Pogba, Eric Bailly, Luke Shaw, Jesse Lingard, Memphis Depay and Tim Fosu-Mensah all under 24.
United are looking to recruit new defenders at centre-back and full-back next year, and Mourinho would prefer them to target experienced players with the know-how of winning titles.
