Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has ruled out moving for Real Madrid's unhappy superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.
Diario Gol says Mourinho is convinced United are being used by Ronaldo in a contract stand off with Real.
The Portuguese has made it clear to Real that he wants to leave this summer after being chased by local tax authorities for an outstanding €14m-plus bill.
It's been claimed Ronaldo wants Real to cover the money owed - and Mourinho believes that's the key reason why United have been caught up in the crisis.
Indeed, the manager ruled out a move for Ronaldo two weeks ago and has told United officials that the club is still being mentioned as a destination is proof this is all connected to new contract demands, rather than any serious departure.
