Jose Mourinho would not want to see Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti make the same mistake he did by overstaying his welcome at Stamford Bridge. Mourinho won six trophies during his three years at the helm at Stamford Bridge, including back-to-back titles, and opted to extend his stay despite initial interest from Real Madrid only to leave four months later.
Ancelotti's future has been the subject of intense discussion in recent days and Mourinho believes he should go when he knows the time is right.
The Portuguese said: "When I did the six figures in the air at Wembley, to mark six trophies at Chelsea when we won the FA Cup in 2007, it could have been my last night at Chelsea.
"I had the chance to go to Real then and said no. Probably I should've said yes at the time. I decided to stay and four months later had no job!"
