Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is pushing to sign Barcelona fullback Jordi Alba.

Don Balon says Barcelona star Alba is high on his agenda.

It's suggested Mourinho believes Alba has all the physical attributes to flourish in the Premier League.

United have already put wheels in motion to secure the 28-year-old's signature.

Barcelona won't let him leave without a fight, though. The Catalans believe Alba as an indispensable first-team player.

Barca boss Ernesto Valverde also has reservations about Alba's understudy, Lucas Digne.
